Thank you for posting the update. I have more info that needs to go online or sent out to all on your mailing list, or both.
Every vehicle going on base to the Friday luncheon absolutely must have someone with the credentials to get onto a military installation and everyone going to the luncheon must have a government issued picture ID; driver's license, military ID, VA card, etc. No exceptions! So please don't forget your wallet or whatever you carry your ID in.
It's easy to get into the hotel. Even though it is part of the base, it is outside the gate. Turn right just after leaving the street and before the gate. The Hope Hotel and Richard C. Holbrooke Conference Center Building #823, Area A, Gate 12A, Dayton, US 45433. Phone Number : 844-550-4631

September 21 is the last date that our blocked rooms are guaranteed. We have several rooms blocked that if not reserved, will go back on the open market the 22nd of September! If you plan on attending or even think you may be, and haven't booked your room, do it now. After the 21st you can still get the VP-1 POPs rate, but only if rooms are available and may be subject to upgrade fees.
Cancellation policies for group reservations is no later than 3-days prior to arrival, otherwise a one night's room and tax charge will apply. All-no shows will be charged to the credit card given to guarantee the reservation. When calling to cancel a reservation contact the hotel at 937 879-2696.
